Description
This beautiful 17th-century cottage stands on the water’s edge of the fishing village of Cawsand with panoramic sea views from most windows. There is no better place to enjoy the extensive sea views than from the large galleried balcony. In the summer you can enjoy views of crystal clear water below, much like being on a ship in tropical waters. In colder months, the cosy cottage is the perfect place to light up the log burner and marvel at the dramatic seascapes on your doorstep.
On the ground floor the kitchen living room is open plan. The kitchen is well equipped with a table and chairs for four with a further breakfast bar. A cosy living room with a log burner, sliding doors onto the gallery balcony with views across the bay. A W/C can be found in the hallway.
The first floor provides a large double bedroom with stunning sea views and a twin room on the street side. A Jack and Jill bathroom can be found in between.
The cottage is perfect for people looking to hear the waves gently crashing on the shoreline or if you are an early riser, watching stunning sunrises over Devon.
Criterion Cottage can be found on Garrett Street in Cawsand a short walk from many restaurants, pubs, beaches and shops.
The nearest car park is a five-minute walk away in Cawsand, but you can always drive past the property for offloading.

Terrific cottage with stunning views. Cawsand & Kingsand are lovely, and all the better for the fact that cars do not come through the tiny streets. Everyone very friendly, lots of people live here, it is not all holiday homes. Get organised and boosee more
Terrific cottage with stunning views. Cawsand & Kingsand are lovely, and all the better for the fact that cars do not come through the tiny streets. Everyone very friendly, lots of people live here, it is not all holiday homes. Get organised and book your evening meals - although you can get takeaway versions from several places. We swam several times a day and loved sitting on the balcony watching all the comings and goings of ferries, rowing gigs, swimmers, yachts and even gunboats! Our damp stuff dried really quickly on the balcony too as no outdoor space for pegging out. Good kitchen - note that freezer is under the stairs!

We absolutely loved the location in Cawsand. The views from the balcony were amazing and we spent most of our time watching the wildlife, swimmers, fishermen and all the various watercraft. Very quiet and peaceful when we went. Would love to go againsee more

Littleholme is a 19th century cottage which has been sympathetically extended; whilst internal renovations and modernisation have retained its original charm. The property, accessed via a private road, has a rear garden and the provision of parking – which is rare within the villages of Cawsand and Kingsand.
The accommodation consists of three bedrooms; two doubles and one twin across the three floors.
There are front and rear entrances to the cottage. From the garden/parking area, the rear door opens into a spacious hallway. A corner storage cupboard contains the iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. There is a ground floor double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The kitchen/diner has an integral dish-washer, washing machine, fridge and freezer. A double oven and hob, plus smaller appliances such as, a toaster, microwave and coffee maker.
There is a walled area immediately outside the front door which is a delightful sun-trap for morning coffees.
First Floor
A dog-leg staircase from the hallway rises to the first floor and the landing area, from which, there is a spacious, light and airy living room with a feature bay window over-looking lush vegetation and a log burner within an alcove. There is a large television and ample seating, three of which recline. Another double bedroom is located on this floor with an en-suite bathroom featuring a free-standing roll-top bath.
Second Floor
A further doorway on the landing gives access to stairs to the third floor attic accommodation which comprises twin beds and an en-suite shower shower room off.
